Luster Odell (L.O.) Wooley, 90, of Vilonia, AR left this earth for his heavenly home on February 24, 2011. His final days and hours were spent surrounded by his family at his home. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Eva Mae Sublett Wooley, and children Jerry Wooley and wife Jo Ellen of Vilonia, Jim Wooley and wife Judy of Vilonia, Judy Foster and husband Stan of Paragould, Johnny Wooley and wife Lynn of Vilonia, Jana Barnett and husband Lewis of Vilonia, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a brother Clarence Wooley and wife Nina of Sherwood, AR, sisters Estelle Smith of North Little Rock, AR, Audie Lee Sharp of Charleston, AR along with many nieces, nephews and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Wooley and Lillie Wooley, and sisters Lorean York, and Elsie McComber.
With his passing, we remind others that his life was one to be celebrated. He led by example and walked in faith. He taught us valuable life lessons but most importantly about Jesus Christ. Although, we will miss him dearly, we can look forward to a glad reunion day! We were blessed to have him as our daddy and our papaw. He was a charter member of Belmont Chapel where he enjoyed the worship, gospel singing, and fellowship dinners (especially the desserts). He was selfless, hardworking and a retired farmer. He always showed compassion to those in need. He loved the Arkansas Cattleman's Association where he was recognized numerous times as an outstanding member at state and county levels in their annual membership drive. He loved his wife, cherished his grandchildren and treasured all of his friends and family. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for his faithfulness, integrity and sense of humor.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2011, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (501)327-7727. Funeral service will be Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Johnny Wooley officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are his grandsons, Matt, Mark and Luke Foster of Paragould, AR, Justin Wooley of Vail, CO, Jacob, Jason, Joshua and Jake Wooley of Vilonia, AR. Honorary pallbearers are his great grandsons, Jaren Wooley and Kylar Foster of Paragould, AR and granddaughters, Jennifer Wooley of Conway, AR, Jordyn and Jalyn Barnett of Vilonia, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Belmont Chapel, 363 Hwy 107 S, Vilonia, AR 72173.

Eva Mae (Sublett) Wooley, 89, of Vilonia, Arkansas fulfilled her destiny to meet Jesus on March 9, 2014. She is survived by her children Jerry Wooley (Jo Ellen), Jim Wooley (Judy), Johnny Wooley, Jana Barnett (Lewis) all of Vilonia, AR and Judy Foster (Stan) of Paragould, AR, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, brothers, Sherman Sublett (Helen), Vernon Sublett (Juanita), Elbert Sublett (Johnnie), Raymond Sublett (Emma Jean), and sisters, Pauline Stewart (Robert), and Thelma Roberts with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Luster O. Wooley, parents Jesse and Zora Sublett and a brother, Esker Sublett.
Eva was a charter member of Belmont Chapel Church in Vilonia. She was 1942 graduate of Centerville High School. Eva was a virtuous Godly mother and Mamaw who lived daily for Jesus. She cherished her children and grandchildren instilling in their hearts many favorite bible stories and hymns. She will be remembered as a short-order cook for her grandchildren, sense of humor and always putting others first. She treasured visits from family, friends and neighbors. Eva was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Belmont Chapel on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with Bro. Johnny Wooley officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
