Selma E. Wooley, 84, of Conway, formerly of Little Rock, passed away Monday (Jan. 6, 2003) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 19, 1918, in Enola to Estell Sanders Hoggard and the late E.J. Hoggard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John G. Wooley.
She was a member of Summit Church in North Little Rock. She had previously served as principal at Hall High School. She was a former president of the DAR Little Rock Chapter and a Pulaski County Home Demonstration Agent.
Other survivors include two sisters, Jessie Lee Glover and husband, Jack of Greenbrier, and Joann Whitaker of North Little Rock; two brothers, Bill Hoggard and wife Rena of Conway, and Tommy Hoggard and wife, Peggy of Conway; seven nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Mindy Loftis of North Little Rock.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 8, 2003) at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conway (501-327-7727) with Dr. Bill Elliff officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.
Pallbearers will be Gary Whitaker, Eddie Glover, Larry Whitaker, Glen Hoggard, Mark Hoggard and Jimmy Wooley.
Memorials may be made to the Marcus Hill Cemetery Fund c/o Regions Bank.
