Aline Pruett Simmons, 93, of Petit Jean, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013. She was born June 5, 1919 in Mtn. View, Arkansas, a daughter of Charles G. Pruett and Loy Walters Pruett. She was the widow of Leonard D. Simmons and a homemaker.
She is survived by her brother, Wayne Pruett of Oregon; sister-in-law, Orphie Pruett of Petit Jean; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and Riverchase Nursing Center friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Buster Pruett, and a sister, Polly Baker.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, at Petit Jean Mtn. Cemetery with Pastor Lindy Davis officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and food donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
