Bertha Mae Price Simmons, age 86, of Petit Jean Mountain, passed away, Sunday, December 2, 2012. She was born June 7, 1926 in North Little Rock, a daughter of Berry Price and Katie Hack Price. She was the widow of David Nathaniel Simmons. She was also a Cook at Mather Lodge on Petit Jean Mountain, and a member of Ada Valley Community Church. Survivors include her sons, Harold Simmons(Hoby) of Ada Valley; Harlan Simmons(Mona) of Petit Jean Mountain; brother, Melvin Price of Oppelo; sister, Jewel McGhee of Perry; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, at Petit Jean Cemetery with Jimmy Ray Evans officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
