Helen Adeline Lorsbach Davis, 84, of Dalton passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at Five Rivers Medical Center.
Helen was born July 3, 1935 in Dalton, AR to the late Lester (Bud) and Ada Rebecca Brown Lorsbach. She was salutatorian of Dalton High School in 1952 and a member of Dalton Church of Christ and Dalton EHC.
Helen was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and great grandma. She was a wonderful cook, always had a large garden in the summer with lots of canning being done. She was also an excellent seamstress and always had beautiful flowers. She definitely had a green thumb. Anyone who drove by her house, knew Helen lived there. She loved sports, especially basketball and football.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, T.C. Davis; and brothers, Don and Joe Lorsbach.
She is survived by 2 sons, Dr. Mike (Dora) Davis of Pocahontas and Billy (Teresa) Davis of Dalton; 1 daughter, Linda (Jim) Lakey, of Dalton; grandchildren, Troy Davis, Dr. Trevor Davis, Dr. Amy Bradley, and Dr. Hannah Lakey, all of Dalton, Tyler Davis of Memphis, TN, Holly Baker of Thayer, MO and Shelby Lakey of Jonesboro; 1 sister, Barbara Floyd of Pocahontas; and 6 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Troy Davis, Trevor Davis, Tyler Davis, Patrick Bradley, Jason Baker, Jake Hardage and Geoffery Vaughn.
Honorary Pallbearers include Amy Bradley, Holly Baker, Hannah Lakey, and Shelby Lakey.
Visitation will by Wednesday, May 6, at 4:30-8:00 p.m. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Roy Causbie officiating. Burial will follow at the King Cemetery.
