June 9, 1890 - March 31, 1969
Mrs. Lillian M. Edwards, 78, of 1003 W. Sixth St., died Monday morning in a local hospital following a long illness. Born June 9, 1890, in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was the daughter of Frank and Susie Phillips Tyrell. A former resident of Birmingham, Ala., she had made her home here for the past five years. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Grace C. Sample of El Dorado. Rosary services will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Rumph Mortuary Chapel. Requiem Mass will be read at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel with the Rev. Richard Strock officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. (El Dorado Times - March 31, 1969)
