Roy Crawford, 70, of Louann, died in a Little Rock hospital Monday. Crawford was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of a Masonic Lodge. He was a retired employe of the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Survivors include his widow, one son, Mack Crawford of Carthage, Ark., one daughter Mrs. Frank Stringer of Angelo, Tex., one brother, Edde Crawford of Smackover, and two grandchildren of San Angelo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Louann Baptist Church with Rev. Judson I. Albritton and Rev. John Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home of Camden. (The El Dorado Times - August 24, 1965)
