Patricia Jo Greer of Camden died peacefully on Sunday morning, March 31, 2013, at Pine Hills Nursing Home, surrounded by her husband and four children. Mrs. Greer was born on March 2, 1936, in Troy, Arkansas to Dan and Laura Robertson, and was the youngest of 10 children. She was a long-time faithful member of Maul Community Missionary Baptist Church, where she served through the years as secretary/treasurer, and song leader. She devoted her life to her family, from her parents, to her husband, down to the youngest grandchild. She was a caregiver, helping anyone that she could. She loved watching her grandchildren in their ballgames, was an avid Razorback fan, and loved all types of music, especially southern gospel. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 16 years and father of her four children, Silas Hindman; brothers, Clifton Robertson and Jimmy Robertson; sisters, Nina Claussen, Kate Cummings, Edith Morris, Maye Waddle, and Faye Orr, daughter-in-law, Shea Greer; two grandchildren, Travis Wayne Greer III, and Melanie Greer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Travis Greer of Camden; mother-in-law, Verna Walls of Camden; sons, Bob Hindman and wife Marlyce (George) of Winfield, Kansas, Wayne Greer and wife, Phyllis of Camden, Clint Greer of Camden; daughters, Becky Kaunitz and husband, Clyde of Gilmer, Texas, Terri Ezell of Camden and Lisa Garrett of Camden, Tonya McElfresh and husband, Lyn of Camden; sisters, Luella Lancaster of Magnolia, Arkansas, and Belle Word of Camden; sisters-in-law, Mary Robertson Loe of Camden, and Ella Mae Robertson of Atlanta, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel with Todd Kaunitz and Billy Jo Evans officiating followed by interment in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 6–8 PM at Proctor Funeral Home.
