Anne L. Martin, age 70, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Higden. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Love) McQuaid.
Mrs. Martin was a retired business systems manager for A T & T. Anne was an excellent golfer and was the Ladies' Club champion twice at Indian Hills Country Club. She also served on the Fairfield Bay Community Club Board of Directors and was a member of the Rescue Squad of Fairfield Bay. Anne was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Fairfield Bay.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" L. Martin, who passed away in 1998.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her sister, Ellen Cusick (William) of Haverford, Pennsylvania; and her nieces, Jenny Staley (Brian) and Christine Cusick; her nephew, Kevin Cusick (Mary Rose); two grandnieces and one grandnephew.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 30, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Memorial Mass following at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Fr. Oliver Ochieze. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 250 Woodlawn Dr., or Fairfield Bay EMS, P. O. Box 1370, both of Fairfield Bay, AR 72088.
