Delores "Cissy" Jean Burton, 56, of Fort Smith, passed away August 25, 2013. She was born January 9, 1957, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Johnnie (Linton) Walker and the late Harold Walker. She had an ice cream route in Fort Smith, driving for Mr. Kool Ice Cream for eight years. She was a very happy go lucky person and she loved her grandchildren.
Cissy is survived by a daughter, Virginia (Burton) Jones and husband, Jimmie, of Fort Smith; two sisters, Beverly Burton of Fort Smith and Connie Walker of Clarksville; a brother, Michael Walker of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Michelle Lockhart, Ashlyn Sellers, Courtney Sellers, Andrew Burton and Jimmie Jones, Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Tyra Burton and Mya Lockhart.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Cissy's funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Ross McBroome officiating. Burial will follow in Hartman Cemetery, Hartman, Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home-Clarksville, Arkansas.
