Mrs. Lottie Thrash McWha, 92, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 2, 2005. She was born Jan. 24, 1913, in Glenwood, the daughter of Benjamin Philetus and Emma (Ward) Thrash. She was a homemaker, a seamstress and a part-time employee of Earl Gill Enterprises in Hot Springs. She was the adult ladies Sunday school teacher, organist and pianist for Oaklawn Baptist Church in Hot Springs for 36 years. Upon retirement in 1983, she and her husband, Ernest, moved to Fayetteville and were members of Central Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, June Jones and husband James of Batesville; one daughter-in-law, Shelby McWha of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, Ernie McWha and wife Debra, Carrie Bennett and husband Ken, Diane Burns and husband Jimmy, all of Fayetteville, Jason Jones and wife Rebecca of Arkadelphia, Janee' Brandon and husband Shawn of Jonesboro, Justin Jones of Batesville; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest McWha, and one son, the Rev. Bennie McWha.

Following graveside services at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 4 at Central Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 3 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The family will be present to greet friend and family.
