HINDSVILLE — Don Wesley Anderson, 54, of Hindsville, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Nov. 29, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Aug. 25, 1960, in Springdale, Ark., son of Leo and Nancy (Hudgins) Anderson.
He graduated from Fayetteville High School and State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Mo. He was the owner of Anderson's Gas and Propane and co-owner of Anderson's Lumber and Pine Creek Lumber. Don was a contractor, cattle and poultry farmer, demolition expert and avid Razorback fan.
He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, president of the Arkansas LP Gas board, member of the board of directors of Arvest Bank, a member of Little Springs Lodge #230, Free and Accepted Masons, the York Rite and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and a member of the Zion Cemetery board of directors. He lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed working and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Leo Sr. and Fern Anderson; and maternal grandparents, L.R. and Garnet Hudgins.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda of the home for 34 years, whom he married on June 21, 1980; son, Morgan Anderson and wife, Jaime, of Hindsville; daughter, April Jech and husband, James, of Hindsville; parents, Leo and Nancy Anderson of Hindsville; brother, Doug Anderson of Bergman; one grandchild, Truman Paul Jech; four nieces, Tara, Paige and Sydney Anderson, and Colby Arnold; and a host of extended family and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Ark., with the Rev. Carl Palmer presiding.
Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark.
