FORT SMITH — Muriel Lucinda Turner Anderson, 86, of Fort Smith died Nov. 5, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was a graduate of Deaconess School of Nursing in Billings, Mont., and was a retired registered nurse. She worked in Northwest Arkansas area hospitals from 1950-1980 including City Hospital in Fayetteville and Springdale Memorial Hospital and worked in the private offices of Dr. John Dorman in Springdale and Dr. Joe B. Hall in Fayetteville. She also taught at the Licensed Practical Nurse School is Fayetteville and served as the director of public health nursing at the Washington County Health Department. Her husband, Floyd 0. Anderson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include five daughters, Loretta Joyce Pilgrim of Coweta. Okla., Lee Anderson Watson of Natchez, Miss., Dee Claire Anderson of St. Louis, Mo., Candy Bell of Fort Smith and Cindy Susan Nimmo of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Dave F. Anderson of Fayetteville and John T. Anderson of Greenwood; one sister, Hazel Vanek of Seattle, Wash.; 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Church of Baptist Ford in Greenland with burial in Campbell Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Nelson-Berma Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 322 N. Greenwood, Fort Smith, 72901.

FORT SMITH — Floyd 0. Anderson, 90, of Fort Smith died Aug. 16, 2002, in Fort Smith.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Fork and served on the Greenland School Board in Greenland.

Survivors include his wife, Murial, of Fort Smith; five daughters, Loretta Joyce Pilgrim of Coweta, Okla., Linda Lee Watson of Natchez, Miss., Dr. Claire "Dixie" Anderson of St Louis, Mo., Candy Bell of Fort Smith, and Cindy Nimmo of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Dave F. Anderson of Fayetteville and John T. Anderson of Gleenwood; two sisters, Mildred Jenkins of Gaithersburg, Md., and Joyce Rowley of Tulsa, Okla.; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will he at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Union Church of Baptist Ford in Greenland, Visitation will be from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m, Monday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m at the fimeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Methodist Village Nursing Home Endowment Fund at 1915 S. 74th St. in Fort Smith.
