Sue Laverne Hodges, 69, of Ozark died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Fort Smith.
She was born July 6, 1942, in Fort Smith to Wallace and Ruth Dixson Smith.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a member of Taylor Sunday School Class. She was a retired beautician and former employee of Shaffer Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Faye Smith.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Dodson officiating with burial at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Hodges of Ozark; two daughters, Larhonda Melton and husband Randy of Ozark and Jana Tolbert and husband Raymond of Ozark; one uncle, Olin Dixon of Seiling, Okla.; four grandchildren, Whitney Battles and husband Ryan, Lauren Sturdivant and husband Russell, Lindsey Tolbert and Justin Tolbert; and three great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Reese and Rowan Battles.
Pallbearers will be Shelby Floyd, Casey White, John Noggle, Allen McIlroy, George Pfeiffer and Robert Hodges.
