Lester Gordon Foster, 89, of Ozark, Arkansas, died, Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in Greenwood, Arkansas.

He was a member of Ozark Masonic Lodge # 33, First United Methodist Church, VFW, Altus and was a disabled World War II Veteran.

He was born June 2, 1923 in Harwood, Texas to Wesley Bryant and Callie Fortner Foster.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Foster.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Ozark, With Reverend Keith Dodson officiating.

He is survived by six nieces, Pat (Prissy) Jones Wattam of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Joann Alford of Victoria, Texas, Joyce Kay Hansen of Alvin, Texas, Ethelene Adams of Houston ,Texas, Phoebe Jones of Lonoke, Arkansas and Laura Ann Jones Cagle of Ozark; one nephew, Norman Smith of Hewitt, Texas.

Ruby P. Foster, 85, of Ozark died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in Ozark. She was born Aug. 12, 1922, in Ozark. She was an officer manager for dental offices and a member of First United Methodist Church in Ozark and Eastern Star.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

She is survived by her husband, L.G. Foster of Ozark; and a sister, Melba Beel of Ozark.

Pallbearers will be Joe Powell, Clinton Hall, Maxey Helmert, Randy Vest, George Pfieffer and Rick Richardson.

Memorial contributions may be made to T.V. Ministry of First United Methodist Church of Ozark; or the charitable organization of choice.
