FARMINGTON - Dale Barron, age 88, of Farmington died Thursday, May 20, 2010, in Huntsville, Ark. He was a Baptist and was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Barron.
Graveside service was held 4 p.m. Saturday May 22, 2010, at Farmington Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
He is survived by two daughters, Carole Cooper of Farmington and Brenda McAlpin of Fayetteville; one sister, Juanita Barron of California; two brothers, Andrew Barron of Huntsville, Ark.; Goldman Barron of Hindsville, Ark., and one granddaughter, Lisa Cooper of Farmington, Ark.
The family wishes to thank the VA Home Health Services and Meadow View Healthcare in Huntsville for their love and compassion for Mr. Barron's care during the past several years.

Maxine Barron, 78, of Farmington died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Meadowview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Huntsville.
She was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Wesley, the daughter of Mack and Susie Ann Boyd Faulkner.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Watkins of Wesley.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Barron; two daughters, Carole Ann Cooper and Brenda McAlpin, both of Farmington; her mother, Susie Ann Faulkner of Wesley; a granddaughter, Lisa Aim Cooper of Farmington; a brother, Tom Faulkner of Pinnacle Mountain; two sisters, Truby Whiteley of Fayetteville and Annie Dorsey of Wesley.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
There will be no visitation.
