Lincoln Man Dies in Crash

One person was killed and four injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Arkansas 16 about two miles west of Fayetteville, State Police reported.

Ronnie J. Barron, 25, of Lincoln died in the crash that occurred at about 4:50 p.m. when the eastbound car he was riding in crossed the center line and hit a westbound vehicle. Barron was a passenger in a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am driven by Kenneth Frazier, 33, of Fayetteville. Frazier was booked into the Washington County jail on pending charges of driving while intoxicated, violation of the implied consent law, driving left of center and no driver's license.

Rebecca D. Flory, 43, of Farmington, the driver of a 1993 Chevrolet Blazer that was struck by Frazier's car, was injured in the crash and taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Frazier and two other passengers, Joe Frazier, 11, and Bobby Frazier, 8, both of Fayetteville, were also taken to the hospital. Flory and the two boys were admitted to the hospital and were listed as stable Saturday. Kenneth Frazier was taken from the emergency room to jail.

Seat belts were being used in the Blazer but not in the Trans Am, police reported.
