Mrs. Nannie Rideout Slaughter, 87, lifelong citizen of Camden, died in the Ouachita County Hospital Wednesday. Survivors include two sons, Alvin and Warren Slaughter; one daughter Mrs. Ruth Buggs of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Leonard Rideout; one sister Mrs. Mary Wallace; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Williams Funeral Home is in charge. (Camden News - April 10, 1969)
