Altha Murphy October 12, 1928 - January 29, 2017
Altha Murphy, 88, of Imboden passed away at St. Bernard’s Medical Center on Sunday, January 29, 2017.
Born on October 12, 1928 in Annieville, daughter of Erastus and Gertie Young Murphy.
She was a retired school teacher and a supervisor in public schools and was also a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Imboden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Truett Murphy; a son, Donnie Murphy, and a grandchild, Sean Murphy.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Murphy of Annieville; four grandchildren, Blue and Jesse Murphy, Heather Powell, and Yana Barnes; seven great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
