November 1, 1886 - February 3, 1969
Mrs. Mary Maude Pedron, 82, died Monday afternoon in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born November 1, 1886 to I. C. Sims and Paul G. Schwedler in "Ageeville". Mrs. Pedron resided at the family home, 461 California St. until 1963 when she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Jackson and Brooks Poindexter in Smackover and Camden. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church here and had been a member of the Kate Steel Bible Class for many years. Besides her daughter, and son-in-law, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. C. A. Van Wagoner of Lewisville, Texas; one niece and several nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Proctor's Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. (Camden News - February 4, 1969)
