Carrie Lee Wood Weaver, 77, passed away on Aug. 1, 2013, in Dallas, Texas, after a lengthy battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
She was born on Sept. 29, 1935, to the late Rudy and Jewell Peeler Wood in West Paducah, Ky.
Carrie lived most of her adult life in Conway, where she raised her three children. She worked as a lab technician for Banister Leiblong Clinic. She also enjoyed sewing, needlework, and china painting. Carrie was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her two sons: Doug Weaver (Carol), Don Weaver (Debbie), both of Conway; one daughter: Charla Smart (John) of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren: Kimberly Weaver-Williams (Judd), Drew Weaver, Ross Weaver of Conway, Abbie Stalnaker (Jonathan) of Fayetteville, Ark., David Smart of Ft. Worth, Texas, Duncan Smart, and Philip Smart of Dallas, Texas.
There will be a Private Family Grave Side Service.
A Memorial Service will be held at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at 3 p.m.
A time for family visitation will follow the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to CUREPSP 30 E. Padonia Rd. Ste. 201, Timonium, MD 21093.
