Mrs. Marguerite Blanks Shaw, 1903 College Avenue, widow of George G. Shaw, died Tuesday (April 14, 1981) at her home.
Mrs. Shaw was a housewife, a member of PEO, First United Methodist Church and active in several civic organizations.
She was born at Hamburg (Ashley Co.), a daughter of Jack Bruce and Sheb Saddler Blanks.
Survivors are a son, George Shaw of Norman, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia S. Hoy of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Anne Couch of Shreveport, La.; a brother, Jack Blanks of Bastrop, La.; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Adkisson of Conway; ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service by McNutt Funeral Home will be conducted at 10 :30 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Beal officiating.
Pallbearers will be Stuart Couch, Doug, Jeff, and Mark Hoy, Scott Shaw, and Sam, Richard, and Sam Adkisson III.
