SPRINGDALE — Margaret "Maggie" Pearl Bunch Perry, 80, of Springdale passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Nov. 16, 1933, near Jasper, Ark., to John Francis and Jewell Emma Hudson Bunch.
Maggie was a member of Cross Church formerly, First Baptist Church, of Springdale. She worked at First State Bank of Springdale, Vantress Farms in Springdale and in banking in Kansas City and Aztec, N.M. She occasionally assisted in the Farmers Livestock Auction office on sales day. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm and kept the books. She graduated from Green Forest High School where she played basketball. She was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Razorbacks play. Maggie was part of "The Rowdy Group" who attended the Girls Basketball games during the Coach Blair Era.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Perry; two brothers, John Olin Bunch and Larry Wayne Bunch.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Lea Perry Talbert and husband Philip of Springdale; one grandson, Christopher Perry Talbert of Springdale; one sister, Karen Bunch Garner and husband Bob of Lowell; two sisters in law, Judy Bunch of Sheridan, Ark., and Joann Bunch Varney of Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rev. Jan Butin and Rev. Leslie Belden officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
