*Obituary
Mrs. Josephine Cole Allen, 86, of Conway died Saturday (March 6, 1999) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born July 26, 1912, in Conway, a daughter of William Daniel and Nell East Cole, she was the widow of Thomas Hodge Allen, a housewife and former violinist for the Washington, D.C., Symphony. She was also a graduate of Hendrix College, a member of the Garden Club and First United Methodist Church and active in the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors are two sons, W. Thomas Allen of New Orleans and Daniel Alexander Allen of Olympia, Wash.; a brother, Bill Cole of Conway; and three grandchildren.
The body will be cremated. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with the Rev. DeeDee Autry officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
