LEXINGTON, Ky. — Michael Henry Jackson, 48, of Lexington died Sept. 11, 1999, at his home. He was born Sept. 30, 1950, in Tulsa, Okla., to Henry and Pauline Thomas Jackson. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Lexington, was a past hunter-education instructor and a past member of the Esprit de Corps 4x4 Club in California.
He was a project engineer for IBM Corp. for 19 years. He was also a member of the Lexington Model Airplane Club.
Survivors include his father; his wife, Melissa Givens Jackson; one son, Andrew Jackson of the home; three brothers, Joseph Jackson of Broken Arrow, Okla., Thomas Jackson of Tulsa and William Jackson of Springdale; two sisters, Liz Kettler of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Jackie Crisp of Springdale.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at North Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville.
Burial will be in Son's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
