*Obituary
Violet M. Weldon, 89 of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, November 4, 2013, at her residence. She was born July 14, 1924, to Ernest Murray and Ruby Phillips Murray in Haynesville, LA.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in El Dorado, the Eastern Star, and she was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her loving husband of 61 years, Ralph Oneal Weldon; and her sister, Ernestine Watts.

Survivors include her two sons, Philip Weldon of Houston, TX, Jim L. Wood and wife Angele of Baton Rouge, LA, daughter, Kay Weldon Ball of Pine Bluff, AR; three grandchildren, Amy Carmouche and husband David, Jennifer Adams and husband Troy, Rose Ann Price and husband Jerry; and six great grandchildren, Robert Carmouche, Katherine "Katy" Carmouche, Avery Carmouche, Brennan Adams, Andrew Adams, and Atom Price.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, at Young's.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, at Young's Chapel with Rev. Brian Trostle officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to the John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
