Dusty Lee Melton, 18.
A Funeral Service for Dusty Lee Melton of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 22, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Wiley officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Dusty passed away January 14, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 18. He was born January 29, 1997, in Mountain Home, the son of Jesse Betts and Candy Hall. He worked at McDonald's and Little Ceasars Pizza. Dusty was a lifetime resident of Mountain Home and he enjoyed fishing, playing video games and hanging out with his friends.
Dusty is survived by his mother, Candy (Noel Santoro) Sweet of Mountain Home, AR; father, Jesse Betts of Whiteville, AR; special friends, G.C. & Phyllis Melton and Anna Melton, all of Yellville, AR; two brothers, Zachary Beck of Gassville, AR and, Joseph Elders of Mountain Home, AR; grandmother, Judy Betts of Whiteville, AR; grandfather, Dale Greer of Norfork, AR; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Betts and grandmother, Fay Greer.
Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery, Norfork, Arkansas, with Zachary Beck, Joseph Elders, Noel Santoro, Mike Santoro, Dale Greer and Sam Hall as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
