Philip E. Melton, age 39, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1968 in Denver, Colorado to the late Clifford E. and Frances L. (Adams) Melton.
Mr. Melton married Theresa Cantrell June 7, 2001 in Mountain Home. He was a retired Deputy for the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department, a member of the East Side Baptist Church and attended the Redeemer Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting.
Mr. Melton is survived by his wife: Theresa, and children: Dakota Melton, Zach Cantrell, Megan Cantrell and Abigail Melton of the home, a son: Bo Litty and wife Chelsea and granddaughter Audrianna of Mountain Home, and two sisters: Roberta Clark of Mountain Home and Mary Shue of Branson, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2007 at East Side Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Michael Shy and Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating.
