Obituary
Olmstead Funeral Home Inc

Last rites were held in the Edgemont Church at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, June 2, for Mrs. Celia E. Rollins, 84, whose death occurred at her home in Edgemont the preceding Tuesday. Although a semi-invalid for the past few months, Mrs. Rollins was critically ill for only a short time.
Mrs. Rollins, a native of Carolina, was born March 9, 1871. She had been a resident of the Edgemont community for about 75 years where she won and retained the love of all who knew her. She was a member of the Baptist Church and lived an exemplary Christian life. Of a jovial and friendly disposition, her greatest joy was in having her loved ones and neighbors visit her.
Mrs. Rollins was the widow of Robert H. Rollins, who passed away many years ago. She continued to live at the home place until a few years ago when she moved to Heber to live with her daughter. Mrs. W. L. Gribble and children, following Mr. Gribbles death. After Mrs. Griggle moved to Witchita, Kansas last fall to be with her children, Mrs. Rollins returned to her Edgemont home and lived with her oldest grandson, Junior Spier and Mrs Spier.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Tom Poole. A few favorite hymns were sung by the church choir and friends served as casket bearers.
Survivors besides Mrs. Griggle include a son, Floyd Rollins of Conway, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Interment was in the Davis Special cemetery with arrangements by the Olmstead Funeral Home.
