Mr Paul Dean Rollins, age 65, of Fowlerton, Ind., died Friday, May 20, 2005 at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ind. Mr Rollins was a foreman for CSX Railroad and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed many hobbies and was an avid mucician, wood craftsman, bowler and fisherman.
He was born February 29, 1940 in Higdon, Ar and was the son of the late James Arlie Rollins and the late Viola (Anderson)Rollins.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Shirley (Metzger) Rollins; they were married October 22, 1960.
One daughter, Viki Rollins (Fiancee Don Pound) of Chicago, Ill.
One son, Jeff Rollins of Phoenix, Ariz.
Two grandchildren, Nathan and Emily Rollins of Phoenix, Ariz.
Four Sisters, Muriel Bates of Harvell, Mo.; Janice (Neil) Cockerhan of Letona, Ark; Shirley Rowe of Searcy, Ark; Maudie (Joe)Stillman of Little Rock, Ark.
Five brothers, J A (Janice) Rollins of Fairmount, Ind.; Leon (Joyce) Rollins of Fairmount, Ind.; Troy (Karen) Rollins of Alexandria, Ind.; Harvey (Gladys) Rollins of Alexandria, Ind.; Lee (Janet) Rollins of Lone Oak, Ark.
Preceded in death by 2 brothers,
Hoover and Major Rollins and a sister, Flora Rollins.
Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S Main St., Fairmount, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Funeral service will be at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2005, Rev Gleason Hackett officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, Ind.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Paul Rollins Memorial Scholarship Fund at Madison-Grant United School Corporation, 11580 S. E00W, Fairmount, Ind 46928
