OAKLAND, Calif. — Henrietta Shelton, born June 20, 1924, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Henry and Mattie Ballard, departed this life, Aug, 26, 2014.
She was a longstanding member of Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church for 59 years in Oakland, Calif., and a trusted employee for 43 years at Golden State Mutual Life. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Nelson Berna Funeral Home, Sunday, Sept. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. Private interment on Monday at Oak Cemetery.
