Erven E. Sturgeon, 81, of Conway, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 20, 2012. He was born April 23, 1931 in Enola, AR, to Virgil and Florence Sturgeon, who preceded him in death.
Erven was a U.S. Army veteran and an avid fisherman. Left behind to miss him, his wife Lois Sturgeon, two sons, Robert (Beverly) Sturgeon and Charles (Tammy) Sturgeon all of Conway, one sister in law, Aliene (Jerry) Smith of Conway, one brother in law, Harley (Mary) Brown of Palermo, CA, ten grand-children, and ten great-grandchildren, also to miss him. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway (501-327-7727), with Bro. Matt Cockran officiating. Burial will follow at Cadron Valley Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven, James, Daniel, and Jonathan Sturgeon, David Mahar, and Tim Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy May, Matthew Smith, and Nick Sturgeon. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
