ROGERS — Alice M. O'Brien, 84, of Rogers died Sept. 16, 2005. She was born March 15, 1921, in Cascade, Mont., to Norris Haney and Mary Boice. She graduated from the University of Utah. She was a schoolteacher and also taught school in the military bases in Okinawa and in the Middle East. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, James O'Brien, on March 24, 1995.
Survivors include five sons, Francis O'Brien and wife Vicki, Stephen O'Brien and wife Carla, both of Rogers, John O'Brien and wife Sonia of Big Spring, Texas, Timothy O'Brien and wife Kelly of Rogers and Thomas O'Brien and wife Diana of Pea Ridge; one sister, Florence Parmelee of Valier, Mont.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery at Rogers.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.
