William Roy Griffith, age 59, of Monkey Run went to be with his Savior on December 18, 2014. Billy was born September 11, 1955, in Mountain Home to Abe and Lucille Griffith. He served a two year deployment in Germany with the U. S. Army. On March 19, 1976, he married Kathy Swetnam with whom he celebrated 38 anniversaries. His daughter, Stephanie was born February 20, 1977. Billy was a member of Wises Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at Pineville, Arkansas. He loved the Lord which was evident to all who knew him. He was constantly helping someone, being selfless and slow to anger. He was always cheering others with kind words and a wonderful sense of humor.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home, daughter Stephanie (Jimmy) Adamson of Springdale, Arkansas, grandchildren, Molly and Ryan Adamson, and sisters, Anita (Lloyd) Osborn of Flippin, Arkansas and Lana (Ronnie) Smith of Gassville, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews and his loyal dog, Daisy.
Funeral services will be held at Roller Funeral Home 10:00AM Monday, December 22, 2014, with Brother Mike Haney and Brother Cody Branscum officiating. Visitation will be at Roller Funeral Home on Sunday from Noon to 9:00 PM with the family being present from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery at Monkey Run.
