COWAN, Magnolia - {from Harmon} Miss Nola Cowan, who has been afflicted with consumption, passed away Thursday at 6 p.m and was buried at the White Oak Cemetery Saturday. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Baptist church. Her friends mourn her loss and extend their sympathy to the bereaved parents.

Miss Magnolia Cowan, daughter of Eld. J.H. Cowan, living west of town near Thornsberry, died Thursday night of last week and the remains were interred Saturday near White Oak school house. She had been ill fifteen months of bronchitis which developed into consumption.
