Wesley Allen Burris of Little Rock, Arkansas, is now with his Lord and Savior. He left this world on April 21, 2012. Wesley was born on December 28, 1970, in Russellville, Arkansas, and is the son of Larry and Janette Burris. Wesley is a graduate of Atkins High School and attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. He was an established, renowned hairstylist at Salon Corde` in Little Rock. Wesley was a born-again Christian who loved telling everyone about his Lord and Savior. He was involved in outreach ministries through his church, That Church, in Sherwood, Arkansas.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Janette Burris of Atkins; a sister, Kristi Jenkins and her husband Jody of Ozark and their children, Jackie Jenkins and Ryan Jenkins.
Wesley's paternal grandparents were Henry and Edith Burris and maternal grandparents were Mansfield and Ruby Eakes, all of Atkins.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, April 25, at Lemley Funeral Home from 7:00-8:30 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, April 26, at Atkins First Baptist Church. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery. A memorial service is scheduled for 5:00 PM Sunday, April 29 at That Church in Sherwood.
The family would be honored if donations were made to the organization of your choice specifically assisting the needy or homeless.
