James b. 12/25/1819, d. 8/29/1905. Elizabeth b. 1/30/1823, d. 6/21/1919. Their families came to Pope County, Arkansas in 1839 by ox drawn wagons from Lawrence County, TN when James was 20 and Elizabeth 16. They married when they arrived in Arkansas, and lived in Pope County all of their lives.
