James Hollie "Sam" Saffell (August 27, 1956 - April 10, 2012)

Saffell-James Hollie “Sam” Saffell, 55 passed from this life Tuesday in Memphis. He was born August 27, 1956 in Batesville to Tommie and Mildred Lewis Saffell.

He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County and was a truck driver. He was a member of the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommie Saffell.

He is survived by daughters, Malorie Toland and Lindsey Calhoun; son, Justin Saffell; mother, Jo Crabtree all of Batesville; brother, David Hendrickson of Saffell; sisters, Gwen Edley of Batesville, Sheila Collins of Cabot and Marla Davis of Batesville; 3 grandchildren and one on the way.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2012 at Mt. Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Saffell with Mitch Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Saffell Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm in House Gregg Funeral Home of Lynn.

Pallbearers: David Hendrickson, Sam Morgan, Tim West, Rodney Lindsey, Richard Sullivan and Wendell Adams.

Honorary: Eric Hendrickson
