ALBERT RATLIFF DIES AFTER FALL
Albert Ratliff, 31 of Wesley, Ark., died last night at City Hospital from results of a skull fracture sustained yesterday afternoon in a fall on ice near his home.
Ratliff was carrying a large log for fuel when he attempted to cross a frozen stream. In the fall he was struck on the head by the log and lay for some time unconscious, when he recovered sufficiently to walk to his home.
Funeral services will be Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at White Oak Chapel, with burial in White Oak cemetery.
Mr. Ratliff was born March 17, 1908 near Delaney, Madison county. He was married in March 1928 to Miss Gladys Boyd. He was son of William Ratliff, a native of Kentucky and of Mrs. Martha Faubus Ratliff, a native of Arkansas.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three small children, Emma Frances, Zoe Cleburn and Lorna Keenie, all of the home; and five sisters, Mrs. Rosa Rafliff of Wheeler; Mrs. Gertha Gibson of Arizona; Mrs. Mamie Ogle of Oklahoma City and Misses Mildred and Freeda Ratliff of Wheeler.
