Latcher Ratliff Dies At Wheeler Wednesday
Latcher Ratliff, 82, died Wednesday afternoon about 1:30 at his home at Wheeler. He was born Jan. 20, 1857 and was married to Louiza Shackelford, who died in 1924.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at White Oak with Rev. D. Thurman officiating. Burial was in White Oak cemetery.
Eight children survive: Millard of Wheeler, Monroe of Gentry, Willie and Sherman of Wheeler, Mrs. Lizzie Jarnagan of Hazel Valley, Murion Ratliff of eastern Oklahoma, Abner of Joplin, and Mrs. Nannie Massie of Delaney.
