LOWELL -- Raymond George Clardy, 90, of Lowell died Aug. 15, 2005, at Springdale. He was born Jan. 16, 1915, in Monte Ne to James Austin and Lillie Dell Rape Clardy. He attended Faith Regular Baptist Church and was retired from the AQ Chicken House and was also a retired farmer. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and yard work. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Clardy, in 1993, and one daughter, Barbara Sparks, in 1990.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Clardy and wife Oleta of Lowell; one daughter, Sandra Drain and husband Jerry of Mission, Texas; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Faith Regular Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Sisemore officiating.
Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Drain, Justin Drain, Steve Williams, Tyler Gideon, Jack Clardy and Pat Clardy.

Lela Marjorie Clardy, 74, of Lowell, died Wednesday at Springdale.
She was born Sept.3, 1919, at Monte Ne to John Roy Shastid and Gertie Mae Baker Shastid. She was retired from AQ Chicken and was a member of the Baptist Church. A daughter, Barbara Sparks, died in 1990.
Survivors are a son, Johnny Wayne Clardy of West Fork; a daughter, Sandra Drain of Liberal, Kans.; three brothers, John Shastid of Springdale. Jay Shastid of Powell, Mo., and Edward Owens; three sisters Jenny Horton of Joplin, Mo., Stella Wilkinson of Neosho, Mo., and Irene Seaman of Pea Ridge; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. today at Faith Regular Baptist Church, with the Rev. Afton Pennington officiating. Burial is to be in Rogers City Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Service, Springdale.
