FARMINGTON — Ruth Amanda Morris, 92, a resident of Farmington, Ark., passed away April 11, 2014, at her home. She was born Aug. 1, 1921, at Leslie, Ark., the daughter of James W. and Minie Wood Ennes.

In her early years Ruth and Elbert lived in Chimes and established a family farm there. She would frequently return for several weeks at a time to visit with relatives and friends.

Ruth was a longtime resident of Springdale, Ark., where she was a motel owner. She also worked as a waitress and was an outgoing people person. She frequented all the coffee shops in Springdale. She dearly loved her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Morris; four brothers, Tom, Corbett, Bill and Gene Ennes; five sisters, Pearl Fielder, Ellie Freeman, Eady Morris, Burlie Phillips and Lucille Hall.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Jo Dunn and husband, Basil, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Pat Boudrey and husband, Jack, of Farmington, Ark.; two grandchildren, Travis Boudrey, and Tonya Mars and husband, Gary; four great-grandchildren, Weston Mars, Steven Mars, Sydney Boudrey and Jackson Boudrey.

Funeral services will be held today, April 15, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark. Burial will be in the Elm Springs Cemetery; there will be no graveside service held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Boudrey, Steven Mars, Weston Mars, Travis Boudrey, Gary Mars, Jack Boudrey and Basil Dunn.
