Mrs. Pearl Pearson, 64, of Route 6, Fayetteville died yesterday in a Springdale hospital. A life-long resident of Washington County, she was born Feb. 12, 1902, the daughter of Harry and Ann Thomas. She was a member of Wheeler Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde, of the home; two sons, James Murphy of Fayetteville and Robert Blackman of Little Rock; three daughters, Mrs. Marion Downum of Palisade, Colo., Mrs. Betty Canup of Springdale and Mrs. Vaudine Parkhurst of Los Angeles; Calif.; one brother, Johnny Thomas of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Velma Lierly of Fayetteville, and Mrs. Agnes Blew of Farmington; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sycamore Baptist Church with burial in Mount Comfort Cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.
