Mary was married to Sylvester Clinton House. Mary's parents were John and Maggie Richey Olsen
Mary Magdelene Olson House, 93, of Hoxie, died Nov. 12, 2014, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro, following a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 10, 1921, in Marion, she was the daughter of John and Maggie Richey Olson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church of Hoxie.
She was preceded in death by her huband, Sylvester Clinton House; a son, Clinton Sylvester House; a brother, Wesley John Olson; and a sister, Opal Flemming.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Linda Sue Forsyth House; a granddaughter, Amanda Jane House Organ; a custodial granddaughter, Vivian Rose Kemper; four great-grandchildren; 15 foster grandchildren; and six foster great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Sunday at 3 p.m. at Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
