FAYETTEVILLE — Joe Terry, age 71 of Fayetteville passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2013. He was born Dec. 10, 1942, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Noel and Marie Terry. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Fayetteville. He loved woodworking, car shows and was a Red Cross trainer. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Shelman Terry.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Terry; one daughter, Deanna Snavely and her husband Kevin of Springdale, Ark.; four sisters, Judy Payne of Springdale, Ark., Barbara Alcorn of Prairie Grove, Ark., Joyce Noe of Fayetteville; Deborah Bennett of Farmington; one brother, Junior Terry of West Fork, Ark.; two grandchildren, Kathryn Snavely and Kyle Snavely.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today, Dec. 23, 2013, at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 20, Morrow, AR 72749. To place an online tribute, visit www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.
