FAYETTEVILLE — Wilburn L. Terry, 89, of Fayetteville died Monday, July 8, 2002, at Fayetteville City Hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1912, in Sunset, the son of James Noah and Martha Frances Osburn Terry. He was a retired welder from the University of Arkansas Physical Plant. He was an avid sports fan of the Lady Razorbacks basketball team and the Greenland Pirates. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Ora Theo Bradley Terry in 1978.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Diane Terry of Fort Leavenworth, Kan., Duane and Pat Terry of Cleveland, Okla., and Kenneth and Beth Terry of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday July 11, 2002, at Nelson-Berna Chapel in Fayetteville with Mr. Jack Harriman officiating. Burial will follow in the Terry Cemetery in the Sunset community area.
