NOAH EDWARD TERRY
Noah Edward Terry, 83, of Fayetteville, died Nov. 28 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Feb. 6, 1896, at Sunset, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Terry and was a member of Buckner Baptist Church. He served with the U.S. Army during World War I and was a retired employee with the Veterans Administration.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah Isabelle Terry of the home; two sons, James E. Terry and Bill D. Terry of Fayetteville; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Martin of Tulsa, Okla.; four brothers, G.L. Terry of Fort Smith, Jessie Terry of Tahlequah, Okla., Frank Terry and Oliver Terry of Springdale; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Cartwright of Arkoma, Okla., and Mrs. Hattie Davis of California; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Nelson Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Lester Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
