Wife of Rufus Lee Best
HELEN INEZ BEST, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born October 31, 1926, in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, a daughter of Corby Clayton and Inez McFarland. She departed this life Saturday, January 15, 2005, in Berryville at the age of 78.
Helen was a waitress. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Berryville.
She is survived by five sons, Richard and his wife, Kim Best of Garland, Texas, Gary his wife, Beth Best of Berryville, Louis Hulrlbut of Washinton, Joe Hurlbut of Oregon, and Bobby Hurlbut; three daughters, Priscilla Devons of Mont Clare, California, Jenny Miller of California, and Becky Hurlbut of South Carolina; one sister, Tessy and her husband, Don Acrea of Shingle Springs, California; eight grandchildren; several other relatives; and a host of friends.
On October 19, 1961, she was united in marriage with Rufus Lee Best who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Corby and Inez McFarland; and one sister, Beatrice Hunt.
