Funeral services for Mrs. Lollie W. Taylor, 52, who died Wednesday night at her home, were held at the First Baptist Church on Sunday. Rev. Clyde Hankins conducted the services, with burial in Forrest Park cemetery under direction of Stevens Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor was born Nov.16, 1914, here, the daughter of Mrs. Lenora Whittenton Williams and J.M.Williams. She was a lifelong resident of the city and a member of the First Baptist Church. She died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home, 1009 Smith Street. In addition to her husband, Alston Taylor, whom she married in 1947, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Otis Warr III of Memphis; a brother, Ernest Neel of San Antonio, Texas; four sisters, Mrs.Bessie Anderson of West Memphis, Mrs. Margaret White of Tunica, Miss., Mrs. C.E. Hawkins of Huntington, Texas, and Mrs. Lawrence Hodges of Whitehaven, Tenn.; and one grandchild.
