Clarence B. Davis, 94, of Central City died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002 in a nursing home. He was born Sept. 18, 1908, in Milam, Mo. He was a retired employee of First Federal, an Army veteran, a member of Barling First Freewill Baptist Church, a cattleman and farmer and the widower of Marie Davis. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Central Freewill Baptist Church in Central City with burial at Barling City Cemetery in Barling under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Lavaca. He is survived by a daughter, Elwanda McAlister of Central City; a son, Clarence Larry Davis of Harrison; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Bowden, Pete McGuire, David McGuire, John McAlister, Sonny Jeffcoat and Everett Butler.
